I'm retiring in exactly 28 days and will be planning to spend the winter somewhere in the Southern USA. I LOATHE snow and hate being cold. I don't consider the temp to be warm until it hits 75. 90 ...

Florida seems to fit the bill for most snowbirds.
I would go to southern AZ or California deserts. It will get cold but most of the winter months it's shorts and tee shirt weather in the daytime.
Lots of BLM land to choose from for boondocking or less expensive RV Parks if you prefer amenities.
