I have spent the winters in Florida and also in the San Diego area. I also have a home in Florida and the high desert of California. Florida for me is too humid and it does not agree with me. But I agree with J Rooster that the Lake Havasu area next to the Colorado river is a nice place to spend the winters. I also like the San Diego, El Cajon area but much more traffic.
I rent my stick house in the east coast so we stay at Penny Thompson RV park close to the entrance to the keys. Not a bad rv park.
