If you were a Snowbird, where would you stay?
I'm retiring in exactly 28 days and will be planning to spend the winter somewhere in the Southern USA. I LOATHE snow and hate being cold. I don't consider the temp to be warm until it hits 75. 90 ...

Check out southern Arizona....around Phoenix. Mesa. Apache Junction....or even Yuma. We've been there....4 years running and love it. However, there is no weather guarantee. Some years...the pool every day. Others....a bit on the cool side, but still not cold.
Florida is nice... but stay south of Lake Ochekobee (sp?) for the warm tropical weather....still no weather guarantee. But fun, nevertheless
