My new 1997 Allegro Bus has Kwikee steps but the door switch is broken (it pops off at inconvenient times) and I'm considering going to a manual step as our rig doesn't really sit that high and I fear...

Seems to me like if you can't fix it yourself, it would be cheaper to take it to a RV repair facility and have it properly fixed, versus installing new manual steps.
