You sound like you have never experienced life in an RV. Before dropping a sizeable amount of cash or large loan I would suggest renting something for a week and seeing how you like this way of life. Don't stay in one spot but travel a little between stops so you can see what is involved in setting up, hooking up the electric and water, and most importantly, dumping tanks. Many people have given up on RVing at that point. We started in '69 and I am now alone. It was very enjoyable as a couple and I still get out and enjoy myself but it isn't as much fun alone. Some people are totally scared stiff driving anything this large. Have you driven anything larger?
