Info on 95 Gulfstream Tourmaster 39’ DP
It Looks like I’m going to be buying a DP.
It’s a 95 Gulfstream Tourmaster 39’ DP with a Cummins 8.3/Allison. It has 1 large living room slide.
It belonged to an uncle who passed away and went to auction. (MH not uncle) LOL
I’ve driven it once about 200 mi to bring it home for him and it was pretty smooth. (First DP I’d driven)
It’s been sitting for a couple of years but was winterized. Tires are 2-3 yrs old and he paid around $3k for some kind of an electronic box as there was an issue of not starting/gear position etc. Not sure as second hand info. Runs ok now. Generator starts and runs good.
Overall it’s in good condition but needs a good detail in and out and new batteries.
My Dad is facilitating the sale. He thinks it has 300 HP, but that seems low for and 8.3L?? I would think higher HP.
Any info or experience with this MH would be appreciated.
The MH is in Iowa and I can buy it for $12,500 because there were few bids and the auction company ended up buying it and will sell to me to make a few dollars.
Looking on RV Trader, the lease expensive was a 99 for $39,995.
I’m thinking if I put some TLC into it I can either use it or sell it and make a few $$.
What do you think?
