Installed new batteries , CAT diesel won't fire at all ??
I installed two new Interstate 950 cca starting batteries in my 3126 CAT diesel and it turns over fine but won't fire at all .
I have opened the water separator filter and drained fuel ,,looks fine . I primed the manual primer .
When taking the old batteries out I did hit my pliers against the chassis and there was some sparks .
What should I look for ? Are there any mobile mechanics around Sidney BC as my rig is in storage on a farm there ??
