'charwan".....If you can't lift your slide and you don't have many options, I would cut your linoleum so that you start with the first piece under the slide. Glue it and slide it under, then work out from there. Using something strong and flat like, a cement finishing trowel from Home Depot, to slide under and press the linoleum down as best you can.
