installing new windshield wipers arms help

I feel sorry for people that can't tighten a nut without a torque
wrench.
I found out the hard and EXPENSIVE way that torque values are established for a reason. I wasn't even to the "umph" stage, much less to the "grunt" stage on a specialty bolt on my Harley...and all of a sudden...SNAP.... needless to say, after $200 and two weeks later to get the ordered part delivered.....I now use a torque wrench on just about EVERY bolt that even halfway looks critical.
