Installing residential fridge freezer drain tube

I have a Whirpool residential refrigerator in my 2013 Itasca Ellipse motorhome. It operates just fine except that occasionally water/ice forms in the bottom of the freezer compartment.

After an internet search, it seems a common problem is that the duckbill drain can become occluded and cause the moisture from defrosting or humidity to flow into the freezer compartment and then cause a leak onto the floor. The solution is a p-trap or drain tube installation (from Whirpool).

The installation of the drain tube looks to be relatively easy. The problem is that you must gain access to the rear of the fridge for installation. There is an access panel on the outside of the MH but it is too small to get to rear of fridge for installation of the p-trap.

Do I need to pull fridge out of its current location to get to the rear? If so, how is that done? I assume the fridge is attached to the floor in some manner.

I am flummoxed!
