Instrument cluster issues 2004 Fleetwood Revolution

Hi I've got a 2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40D, Had it stored for the winter and just pulled it out. Problem I am having is everything was working just fine when I put it into storage but now some of the gauges on the instrument cluster are not working.
The engine tachometer, front brake air pressure gauge, Fuel gauge, are not working the rest of the gauges seam to be working just fine. When I start up the unit the buzzer for low air sounds but quickly goes off indicating air pressure is sufficient. Rear brake air is working.
Another issue is the dash stereo turns on and all but I cannot get any sound
  • First thing is to check all the grounds for the wiring, most electrical troubles starts with a bad ground.
  • I think your coach is built on a Freightliner chassis.

If this is true, give the Freightliner Help Desk a call (free service). Have the last 6 digits of your vin number available before you call because they will ask for this so they can look up the build records for your chassis.

edit....Freightliner help desk number is 1 800 FTL HELP

  • Ya checked the switch and also tried tapping on the gauges but still nothing. Tried following the lines and they seam to be ok. Checked all the switches still no sound from the radio.

  • As far as no sound from the radio.....don't forget the switch up in the compartment where the CD DVD etc are.
Have you tried tapping lightly on the gauges that aren't working? Don't break the glass.

Ya I checked the fuses and they were all good may have to go a little further in all the wiring around the dash seams ok. No signs of any critters inside the RV.
