Very simple explanation.
1. Motorized vehicles and Boats are NOT covered thru your Homeowners policy. The Home Policy specifically EXCLUDES such vehicles.
2. You MUST have Insurance on each Vehicle/Boat for any coverage to included for you.
3. I KNOW this because my Classic Corvette, was in my garage and I was going to lapse the coverage for a year while I did extensive repairs to it. I called my Insurance agent to make sure it was covered while I did this(worried about fire or Tornado destroying the garage and car). That is when he informed me of how Homeownersa policy's are written. Doug
