ok had a beaver made in 01 and changed to a 08 holiday rambler and got my state farm quote of double the amount. ive had state farm for 31 years on everything but is there a better price on motorhome ins? any help is greatly appreciated

- IMHO..insurers treat new customers better than existing ones as far as premium pricing. Had GS (Nat. Gen.) many years ago and changed after five years for a much lower premium. Went back to GS( GMAC bought by Nat. Gen.) a few years ago. Again, for a lower premium. Will start quote hunting in another year or two.

- We've had our coach insured by Foremost Ins. Co. now for 19 years. During that time we've enjoyed great hassle free claim service from them.
- In 31 years you've never called around to compare prices? We do so every two years or so and always find one better.
No two people will be the same. Insurance is based on many factors - age, where you live, driving record, how much insurance you want, what your vehicles are, etc. The best thing for you to do is just to start calling around. Good luck! - About all you can do is call around. Things change so much from state to state, city to city and even zip code to zip code.
Make sure you are getting the same coverages for each quote.
That said, I had progressive but decided to do some checking and ended up with National General (Good Sam program formally GMAC).
I did get coverages for cars, homes, and motorhome. Saved me substantial dollars. - AARP saved us a bunch vs. SF.
