Insurance
I need a show of hands as to who uses Good Sam for their moho and toad insurance. Just went online and it seems about 1/2 as much. If you need them how do they respond? Any info appreciated.

- Good Sam Insurance Agency is an independent agency that represents 4 insurance companies that have great RV policies. National General, Safeco, Progressive and Foremost. Each carrier has RV coverage's including personal property, liability, permanent attachment coverage and comp/collision. Several offer replacement cost and several offer full timing coverage. Depending on the type of RV, what state you are in and what coverage's you are seeking we can shop several carriers to get you the best rate and coverage's you need. - We had National Interstate (since 2001) until last year, when they "got out of" RV Insurance.
They "assigned" us Liberty Mutual. Our agent called...they carry both Liberty Mutual and Progressive, said that for our needs, Progressive is better...so we went with Progressive. 1 year now, no claims, have no idea what any problems might be...and hope I don't find out.
Some years ago, Camping World was pushing insurance for RVs. Investigating, I found they were using GMAC (now called "ALLY"...internet only) and the premium quote was almost double what I was paying for National Interstate. Guess what.
Look around. Quite a few RV insurance companies and plans out there. G'luck ! rk911 wrote:

yup. we have State Farm on all of our vehicles (as well as our home) and receive multi-vehicle discounts. it's worth a call to your current vehicle(s) agent.
We've had State Farm for the last 6 years. 2 cars, motorhome, and house. They were competitive. Our rates went crazy with them this last year for no reason. Over a $1000 increase over last year. Just went back to AAA and got all the money back. It pays to look around and not sit easy with any insurance company. I check around every 2 years or a big increase.bucky wrote:

Do you mean no increase due to a claim?
What I mean is, that over the years there's been no increase in my premium for any reason.
My current annual premium is $838 for full coverage with $250 deductible.
It also included towing and roadside assistance.
Again Best of luck and safe travels...:)- I have had Progressive for about 10 years and check for something better every year and have found nothing. Had 2 claims---1 tore off 24ft awning and they paid right up---2 Pass side mirror hit a road sign and went through the windshield and they paid right up.....Never had a premium increase and pretty reasonable.
