- Big_KatunaExplorer IIThanks. Should get me started. I was a bench tech bread boarding switching power supplies in a former life so am very comfortable with AC/DC, high voltages, etc. Hoping its something simple.

- 2chiefsRusExplorerWe had a similar issue 4 years ago. We eventually resolved the problem by tightening all the connectors in the main breaker box in the bedroom. We had to trouble shoot it for about 5 days. It started out the same way as you describe your problem. After a couple more days, it started cycling on and off like the coach was being plugged in and then unplugged at the pedestal.
Intellitec pointed us in the direction of looking for a loose connection in the breaker panel. We were in Alaska at the time so the idea of something having bounced loose seemed appropriate. - Measure BETWEEN the 2 hot legs. IF you get 230/240 volts, your EMS is malfunctioning. IF you do NOT get that voltage, you are NOT on correct 50 amp service. You are on cheated 50 amp which is on the same phase. True 50 amp is out of phase. The EMS "sees" the 2 separate phases and that is how it knows you are on 50 amp service. Doug
