Back in 1973-75 FMC installed that type of shower head in FMC's, but with a small head on a shower wand. For the balance of the 1975-76 production they installed a fixed height, wand shower. I changed the head out on mine to a newer one - an oxygenics. As Bumpy says, balasts the dirt off!
