First you have to decide how many museums you want to see. The
RV Hall of Fame is good, but since you are going through Michigan, you really should plan on a day (I mean at least one day) at the Ford Museums. Look up Henry Ford Museums. There are no RV parks real near by, several are in striking range. That museum complex is about everything.....
Want benchmark Automobiles? Look up The Gilmore collection. It will be a little out of your way, but well worth the stop, if you like cars at all.
I could go on like this for another few pages. But I would like to know more about your interests.
The Hot Springs National Historical Site should not be missed if you are within 100 miles (160Km) of the place.
So, if you come back with the sort of places you want to be and what route you are planning to take, I bet you we can come up with a few (hundred) more good suggestions.
Every time we return from an excursion, we find out about something we should have stopped to see, sometimes it was only a few miles off the planned track.
