Introduction

Hello to everyone! I'll start by introducing myself as a newbie to owning a motor-coach. My wife and I are purchasing our first unit and are very excited. Retirement is looming closely for me and this has been our fantasy for a while, although the actual purchase is coming a bit earlier in the scheduled plan due to an opportune available coach. I am not new to camping, but am definitely new to motor-coaches.

We lucked into an older unit that a wonderful couple of folks I've known all my life are no longer able to use due to health issues. We are purchasing a 1999 36' Holiday Rambler Endeavor with the Triton V10. The mileage is a bit higher than I would like, (80K), but the coach is in great shape with all service records including oil changes every 3K miles, annual generator service, and really only needs a new set of auxiliary batteries to get us going. The tires/brakes are only 2 years old with less than 10K miles on them. Everything inside looks great and seems to be in good repair. There are a few things that need updating like the television mounted in the dash, the rearview camera and perhaps the carpet/bedding, but overall a great coach.

I'm sure I'll have tons of questions in the near future, so I apologize now if I can't find something using the search feature and default to just outright asking. But then again, I've never found a Camper that wasn't overly helpful!! Looking forward to reading about your adventures and to sharing ours!
