We now have a Zantrex 458 freedom combi installed. It refuses to charge the battery bank correctly. What's the logical upgrade?

Had my Xantrex 458 repaired 3 times by the factory rep and each time it lasted less than a week----I gave up on it after spending enough on repairs to buy a new one........
