My original (factory supplied) 400W inverter was completely invisible, hidden away under the wardrobe and lower drawers. I replaced it with a 1,750W inverter which by design needs to be visible. I cut an opening in the lower cabinet at floor level so that the front panel of the new inverter is visible.
BTW: "Drew" makes a good point. Originally my front TV did not work with the ignition on and engine running. I disconnected the wire that went to the ignition so that the TV could be used while traveling for showing videos using the DVD player.
