I do appreciate all of the input from the overnight, thank you all for all the food for thought.
Apparently there are two schools of thought on running the propane while underway, I choose not to. DSDP and Golden HVAC I am very concerned about running the propane while underway, if something unusual happened you have 4 lines charged with propane - the stove, the water heater, the furnace and the refrigerator. I am with kayteg1 on the propane while driving subject. I may be newer to RVing than most folks here but I am an engineer and I do look to make my situation better and safer as I go.
The inverter I am interested in is the Samlex SSW-1000-12A 1000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter.
I'm not sure why Pianotuna thinks that because I run a Class C the charging path for the house battery is "poor", my alternator is 130a and my Iota DLS55 converter is more than adequate and with the IQ4 makes it a multistage smart charging system.
The chassis battery is not deep cycle and for installation purposes the 12vdc line will have too much of a voltage drop due to the length of the run, as will connecting to the converter 12v line. Mounting in the battery compartment is not a problem and with 2-3 feet of #4 wire will minimize any voltage drop( Edison found out the hard way that loses are a problem with DC, not AC - the reason Tesla won that battle), the battery is an AGM sealed deep cycle unit, so no problem mounting the inverter in battery box.
I believe the wiring design I will be using will be the simplest and will do what I need, a simple relay will serve as a transfer switch.
