Perhaps because many of us have seen very questionable wiring from various mfgs and it has nothing to do with a Class C.
It's not so much about the charger and alternator as it is about the wiring. Your battery charging may be OK or not and that is determined by measuring voltage and amps with a good battery load.
It's likely that your alternator will supply the additional 30A to run the refer but you might want to check with the head lights on, cab air running, battery discharged and any other normal loads.
