That is why LEGAL Tax avoidance is a good thing. Paying more taxes than you owe is just stupid, any way that you want to spin it.
People that have been convicted of tax EVASION are not to be confused with people that use every LEGAL means at their disposal to avoid paying more than "their fair share".
Do you have a LLC in Montana that owns your MH, yet you use it in Fl. and have a Fl. license?
I had mentioned in the past how I deduct many of my RV expenses LEGALLY. There are at least two forum members here that are tax experts and they both concur, along with the tax collectors, and the IRS, that I have a completely legal method of doing this.
Unfortunately there are a lot of forum members that don't feel that there are ANY LEGAL methods to deduct RV expenses so there is no use arguing with them AGAIN. I'll stick with what has worked for me for close to two decades.
Setting up a corporation for the express intent to evade taxes will get you arrested or fined. Setting up a corporation to LEGALLY avoid paying more taxes than you need to, is easy to do if you have a TAX expert that knows all of the LEGAL ways of doing it properly. There are many large corporations that are incorporated in Delaware because of the various advantages. Montana is no different from any other state, if it is done right.
