Western Recreational Vehicles TC

We just acquired a 1994 Western Recreational TC (Alpenlite) and would love to have a brochure for this camper when new. It was sold to us with 100% assurances that it was an aluminum frame structure. We immediately had a corner jack pull away from the frame. The decals and tags for model and serial are unreadable at this point in it's life, but we think it is a 1993 year...model "M-11 DBEC". It is 11 feet without slides. Built in generator, dry bath.

We love the camper and hope to restore it and install Stable Lift jack system..

Would anyone have a brochure or know where I might find one? We might get some relief on what we paid for it....if it is not an aluminum frame?

Thanks for any help....Andy'n'Linda
  • My wife and I visited the plant in Yakima, WA in the early 90s (not sure what year) and got a short tour of the construction line. It was definitely Al framed with solid foam insulation between the Al tubing.

They assembled one entire panel (like a side or front piece) at a time. I can't recall exactly how they were joined together but it wasn't welded since the panels were insulated and skinned both inside and out at that point. Hope that helps.
  • Thank you Mortimer,msiminoff,gkirtley.....

Your responses are very helpful and giving me some insight into this Alpenlite. You have me convinced that it is a AL frame. Now if I can just figure out how that corner Jack is fastened into it.

    Thanks again
