IOWA to Arizona - any "cool" places we should stop?

we're headed to Moscow, Iowa for service on our HWH system next week (10/2). we have no schedule and no preference as to how we return to Arizona and are looking for some "different" places to visit. ...

If you take I-10 into Arizona, you might want to stop in Wilcox. The Sandhills have landed there, too. In fact, there's a birding festival there in January and the Sandhills are the main attraction.
