My first motorhome was 20 years old and cost me $8500. The owner was asking $10k and my first offer was $8k. I sold it through E-bay for $8800. They've all cost about $.50 per mile to run, not counting tires, insurance and repairs. I normally look at 12=16 years old as the sweet spot.
