I have a 38' gasser with a king bed and bath and half. I would prefer a nice B at my age/stage. We have traveled the whole US and now mostly go back and forth to Maine in the summer. You don't really need a toad with a B and there are so many more options on where to stay (small inexpensive state and county parks for example). A class C can work too but I have always felt cramped in a C cab. However, the wife much prefers the luxury that a Class A provides, so for now I'm stuck! If you do downsize, make sure the wife is ok with the much smaller kitchen/bath and sleeping quarters.
