Is RVdaily.com legit?

We are trying to sell our 2014 Palazzo. Got a call today from someone at RVDaily.com wanted $799.oo dollars to almost :-) guarantee a quick sale. Usually if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them either as a buyer or seller?

Thanks,
Wayne

This sounds like a perfect example of someone charging a LOT of money for something that you could do yourself and they are more concerned with getting that money than any results for a sale. It also sounds like they have themselves pretty well covered in case your unit does not sell. If you really want help selling your unit, put it on a consignment lot. Although they can gouge pretty deep (10%) at least they have a vested interest in selling it. They don't get paid if it doesn't and the more they sell for the more they make.

Lots of folks sell RV's themselves every day. Price it right and advertise for free on Craigslist. Sold my last MH that way. If it's not priced right, it won't matter how much effort you put into selling it. If it's priced to sell, it will.
  • Their web site looks good, but it didn't work well at all.

Since I'm looking for a Nash 26X TT, I clicked on the TT category and everything came up from DPs to TCs. So much for categories.

Then I used their search function for just Nash TTs. Not a single hit.

I don't think I give them anything to list my RV.

  • 'Almost' is the key word. Don't waste your money.
If you decide to spend the money, take Bumpy's offer and save $100. I'll almost guarantee the same results as RVdaily. :)
  • I don't have direct experience with them however it seems that they have a website and an eBay store. I suspect that they for your $799 would create an ad on their site and maybe an eBay listing. If you are reasonably savy you can do it yourself. Listing an RV isn't the hard part, pricing it correctly and qualifying buyers is. There is absolutely nothing that this company is doing that would warrant the fees they charge. Charges to run an eBay auction? Really? Anyone with an internet connection can set up an eBay auction. Same for Craig's List, OfferUp or any other internet site. Sure you can pay to list on some other RV specific sites too but those charges are not crazy either. I would say run away from this company and either market it yourself or take it to a reputable dealership and see if they will take it on consignment. At least the dealership can provide financing and service to a potential customer.
