LOL! that interpretation of the thread title didn't even occur to me!
One of my pet peeves is meaningless titles - "help" or "Problem" or similar titles, so I wanted to give potential viewers a reasonable idea of what the thread was about. Guess I should have specified "Is ENGINE dying" etc.
Thanks for the comments! I think we negotiated a good price, and even if the problem turns out to be expensive, $15-16k is still way below the $30-50k prices I've seen for newer motorhomes. And the coach part is in great shape.
No doubt you will be hearing about our adventures. ;) Shakedown trip is next weekend if our funds clear in time to purchase it! We are planning on driving 150 miles to a renaissance fair, and having a cool quiet place to go when drained sounds like heaven - will let us check out the genset and a/c as well as the driving part.
