vermilye is correct about the GPS somethings changing the route. After I send the route to the GPS I check the route with BaseCamp. If the route is not correct I make the changes in BaseCamp and send the route again. There is a option in BaseCamp that allows you to change the route. I also use the view in Google Earth before I send any routes to the GPS.
