The problem is if it's big enough it will lower the turbo drive pressure and you will over-fuel for a given throttle setting. This results in dangerously high EGT - enough in some cases to damage a piston.
If you have an actual hole I would probably not drive it. If it's just cracked your probably OK but I would stay away from any long steep hill
