Thanks for the follow-up input. I'll recheck the location of anything that could be in the line of hot exhaust leaking, like the oil tube - but from what I could see earlier, it all looked pretty good around the area.
Will try snugging the #3 bolts later today.
Pretty sure I'll go ahead and have the manifold replaced. Figure by the time I pay to have the turbo removed, to get the manifold off to check it for tolerance - might as well put a new manifold on it. I thought about having it machined if slightly out of tolerance, as mentioned in another thread - the casting his now seasoned... But concerned about lead-time on obtaining a new exhaust manifold, if it is required to be replaced. Shop here in the town I'm in, said it took 6-7 days to get an exhaust manifold for a recent ISC repair (came off in pieces, so badly cracked). So, whatever shop I end up with, I'm going to call in with the engine SN and ask them to order and get the parts before we start the work. Sure, may not be needed, but don't want to be sitting in a shop for several days waiting for parts.
Recommendations for Denver area/region shops appreciated!
