Did the helicopter on Kauai, loved it. But even better was a glider flight on Oahua. Original Glider Rides out at Dillingham Airfield on the North Shore. What impressed me was that the pilot would walk out to the glider and step out of his sandals and into the sailplane. Once he landed he stepped out of the sailplane and into his sandals without his feet ever touching the pavement. He did this multiple times except for once. I questioned him on this and he said he had to stop short to keep from running over his tow rope. I love small planes and have solo'ed several times in powered parachutes but this was by far the most fun. They can take two passengers side by side in the rear seat. Now if you couldn't talk the DW into a helicopter ride, I would love to listen in on you explaining about a non powered flight.
