I do love to laugh and some comments from well meaning people are quite silly. Wondering what is the oddest, silliest thing people have said regarding your rv?I was washing the moho at my work, a school bus depot. A dispatch lady comes out and says " If you use rain X on the front end you will see a drastic increase in mpgs"Silly me, I thought the poor mpg was because its 12.5 ft tall, 8.5 ft wide and was north of 15,000 pounds, apparently its because I don't use Rain X, LOL.

Have you tried it??I know my 5th wheel slips thru the wind easier after washing/waxing it :BTowed FW to a County Park. Stopped at kiosk to check in. Park Attendant leaned out window and asked " Going Camping?"Here's your sign!

I was chatting with a newbie RVer telling him a pressure regulator for his water hose was cheap insurance. He said " Water pressure is the park's problem".

If using rain-X on the front end gives you a drastic increase in MPG, I wonder what treating the whole RV will do? :)

There was a guy hookin up who I was talkin with. I noticed he had no break away brake cable. When I mentioned it he said" I'm not going more than an hour to home".

Never Rain-X the back of an RV. It will actually cause your mpg to drop to 5mpg. Wind shear and all.

Excellent response. Especially if you do it with a straight face. I'd also add, " I bought a new VIN plane on Ebay."
