I have a 2007 Greyhawk gasser 32SS and it's been a good unit since I bought it new. I would have preferred a diesel, but at the time the extra $14K was more than I could swing. Mine doesn't sit in the driveway either. I've crossed the Rockies four times in it and have 42,000 miles on it in six years. There were some initial issues like every unit I've owned, but they've been minor. The norcold door has been an issue and I'm about to put my third one one. That would happen to any norcold unit though so it's not a Jayco issue.
The 6-spd allison transmission is what makes the gasser work so well in the mountains. I don't have to ride the brake at all and it maintains a good speed going downhill even with the car behind it.
I would buy it again. Now....that being said, I'd prefer a Class A because I would like that extra 7 or 8 ft up front to be usable space. The big window would add to the openess of the coach compared to the class C feel of this one.
It does drive great and it has served us well so I shouldn't even be looking at a class A, but we still do.
