I have a 1995 GMC Jayco Weekender. The house battery will charge when plugged into a 110v outlet. The van (my Van) has a converted/charger installed in the space below the towel drawers under the fridge. When plugged into 110v outlet, the converter/charger supplies power to all 12vdc outlets and your 110v outlets and Micro and Princess Stove. While driving, the alternator supplies a small current to the house battery to maintain a charge. When the vehicle is not running, a battery disconnect switch (installed in the engine compartment) prevents the inverter/charger from applying a voltage to your vehicle battery. The four switches located on the overhead console controls the lights in the cabin including the light over the sink, the mood lights, the overhead fluorescent and the light at the rear door. All the fluorescent tubes are 12vdc. You can find an owners manual for the 2000 Weekender at Cunninghamcampers.com (look under the Manuals tab)
