- LwiddisExplorer IIIn the short range, I prefer Winnebago...long range too.
- azdryheatExplorerThey both use the same Ford chassis, same Ford V-10 engine, and same Ford Transmission.
- jplante4Explorer IIAll other things being equal, choose the floor plan you like. I believe the relative quality between these 2 manufacturers is the same. Are you planning in going on the road? If which determine which had s the best service network. My guess on that would be the Winnie.
- gafidlerExplorerIf you buy a pre-owned Winne , you can get one with the GMC engine and workhorse chassie
- scbwrExplorer IIDo some research on the Jayco motorhomes. One of their units in the 29' range received a lot of negative comments due to stability issues when on the road. In the same line, the 32' model seemed to be ok. Also, just do some general research regarding shorter wheelbase motorhomes being less stable, but it really varies by manufacturer.
- garyemunsonExplorer IIAs good as the Workhorse chassis were, they are getting pretty long in the tooth. The difference in availability of Ford parts vs WH will only widen. Although Workhorse still exists in name, they are not the same company, now only making some electric vehicles. This can make a difference if you need some brand specific part while on the road.
- rr2254545ExplorerI feel that if you look at both the quality will be apparent - yes I am prejudice to Winnebago - but look for yourself

Yeah, I gotta agree with rr2254545.- scbwrExplorer IIWinnebago makes a nice MH, but based upon our search for a MH during the past year, I would suggest that you also look at motorhomes made by Newmar or Tiffin.
- kenwautooneExplorerJayco now owned by Thor.....buyer beware....Ken
