Cannot find anything on the net regarding capacities...may want at some time to convert to a inside bath but the chassis made the deal. Drives real well and has 5.7l and 4l80 trans. Hope to use on short dirt bike/dual sport trips.

I have a 1993 coachmen 30 gm chassis. water, gray, black all 11gallons. Propane 6gals. Fuel tank 33gal. Mine has the inside shower. but very small. Larry

Think I have a plan. Floor on this is already raised a bit, some models came with an in floor shower pan like roadtrek, so I think I can install. Drain is the problem, where and how to pass thru, may need to build up a little higher the floor base. I don't yet see any reason why not, an rv tech I use is going to check it tomorrow. Should be enough water and storage for two baths, three days of normal use. Desert riding season is here, hope this experiment works out.

Chuck, It should work out well for your purpose. What do you ride and will you haul your bike with a trailer or bumper carrier. I have a '98 CR250 plus bikes for the wife and kids but have not used our Class C for riding trips.

My plan for the van is a hitch mount carrier. Tomorrow's its maiden voyage. Taking an xr600 street legal. Need to work thru some kinks and where stuff goes. I have a large C ad well, funmover, bunch of bikes. Trying to simplify or at least for short trips no family or alone, or alone to meet buddies..

So far I like how it handles, will take a shot and post. Shower has me intrigued... esp for cold weather riding.

This subject comes up fairly frequently. There are several things you need to check. You need to know what your current "ready to go" weight is on the rear axle compared to the GAWR (likely on the door post). Then check the capacity of the receiver hitch - usually 350 or 500 lbs.

There is a simple formula - Know the weight of your small motorcycle. Add the weight of the carrier for the motorcycle. Measure the wheelbase (distance front axle to the rear axle). Measure the distance from the rear axle to the center of your motorcycle carrier. Now multiply the weight of the motorcycle plus the carrier by the distance behind the rear axle. Divide this answer by the distance between the axles. This is the amount you are lifting off the front axle (the see saw effect).

If for example:
1. motorcycle weighs 400 lbs
2. carrier weighs 50 lbs
3. motorcycle carrier is 6 feet behind the rear axle
4. wheelbase is 12 feet.
(400+50=450 x 6 feet = 2,700 divide by 12 feet = 225 lbs). In this example the motorcycle is lifting 225 lbs from the front axle and is adding 675 lbs to the rear axle.
