Kelderman Air Ride System

I recently had the Kelderman Air Ride installed, but just had the opportunity to take it out on truly representative roads. I have to say, I am NOT pleased. It rides fine on smooth roads. However, when we hit any rough road (sometimes even just bridge transitions) it rides worse than it did before installation of the Kelderman.

The pressure was set at sixty pounds, which was recommended by Kelderman. The only thing that is different is that we did not install the included Monroe shocks, but kept on the Koni FSDs, which had been installed, not long ago.

Am I doing anything wrong ? Does anyone have recommendations ?
  • I replied to your private message. You are way too much inflated I think. You are running 60 and I suspect 40-45 will provide the best performance.

    Just did the front.
  • Ride height is critical for proper performance. Winnebago can give you specs for pavement to frame height. On my air system, it made a world of difference in ride quality when it was properly adjusted.
  • Adjust the pressure until you find what is the best for the load that you are carrying. There is no one size fits all.
  • Did you do front and rear?
