I traded in my GMC 2500HD a couple of years ago for a half-ton because somewhere along the line I got old and arthritic. With the stiff suspension, Uncle Arthur was beating me to death in the old truck. I can't put up with that when traveling, because we want to be able to park somewhere and commute all around to see the sights. For this and other reasons, a Class A with a dinghy makes sense.
Don't need a big refer, or any sofa, or big bathroom, or more than maybe one small TV. Don't care much about a slide one way or another.
Of all the things on our "must-have" list, respectable kitchen counter and storage is the toughest to find in combination with the others.
