K&N filters
Need your opinion. I am at the FMCA rally at Indio and there is a vender selling K&N washable air filters for big diesel coaches, plus this includes installation of a Aero exhaust system. They cla...

we suffered a catastrophic loss of engine power during a really, really heavy rain storm one day outside of Fredericksburg, texas several years ago. we were able to limp into town where a local shop diagnosed and was able to show me that the standard air filter had simply become water logged. he recommended and I approved replacing that air filter with a K&N. my local mechanic with whom I consulted on this did not object.
our mileage has not improved but neither has it decreased. but we've been thru several equally bad rain storms with no loss of power. on that basis alone i'm glad I made the switch.
