Back when my truck was new, another company was claiming that their washable filter/intake system made 50 HP. I challenged them via the internet to provide me with one and I would dyno my truck at my expense and report the results. If it made 50 HP then I would pay for the kit, if not then it was to be free to me.
We did the deal and their filter made 9 HP more than the stock part. And that was at the high end.
That company stopped making the phony claims after that.
There's no way a filter can make that kind of power.
Another note, if you have a filter minder and it doesn't move with a clean filter, then you don't need any more flow.
