Strange but many recommending a K&N air filter have gas engines while the post stated he had a diesel. The air filter on my Cummins ISC 350 HP is about a 12+" in dia. and 36"- 40" in length, and I have never seen a K&N air filter for my engine. IMO since diesel engines can be damaged from fine particles of dirt, etc. getting into the engine I would stick with O.E. For an expert opinion call the Engine Mfg. for their opinion on what they recommend.
