I know your talking Ford Chassis here, but I replaced on both new to me MHs with Chevy Chassis
2001 Gulfstream Conquest Sport 23Ft had 18K on the OD
2005 Thor FW 5000 23A 25ft had 29K on the OD
With the Bilstein shocks was and is a Night and Day difference in all aspects mentioned above.
I must say tho that the biggest difference I noticed was when I (with J-D's help) installed the rear Hellwig sway bar ! It is so nice to go through a corner flat and not doing the lean.
Or the big trucks still push me over a bit when I hit their air flow/wall when passing them, but I don't feel the lean like I did before...
Never gave the Koni shocks a thought had put Monroe Sensa Tracs on a 2003 Chevy Tahoe when the stock rears started leaking and hated them , I removed them and put Bilsteins on. I was sold on Bilsteins.. Hence put them on both MH's :)
