In an ideal world, Ford & Chevy should calibrate for class C and have a package for that.
Yep!
Ford offers the E350 and E450 DRW cut-away chassis "SPECIFIC FOR MOTOR HOME MANUFACTURES". They come equipped RV-ready with power window & doors, chrome front grille work, no seats (just a cheap plastic cafeteria seat for lot-driving), no floor coverings, no outside mirrors, both a short and long antenna mast (short for the "C" overhang), just to mention the ones I recall off-hand. It only makes sense to equip every RV-specific chassis with heavy duty front & rear stabilizer bars, rear trac bar, heavy duty steering stabilizer, and RV-focused shock absorbers. Every RV chassis is going to end up close to an at-max-load box truck 100% during it's lifetime. Not an empty box truck that is loaded to capacity only on rare occasion. If Ford doesn't want to make their own such components, then buy in bulk from places like Roadmaster, Helwig, Bilstein & Koni.
