One thing I didn't mention is porpoising. I can safely say I've been over roads in CA which would bring out that effect if it existed. It doesn't on my 24' Ford on broken concrete fwys in southern CA. No tendency to porpoise.
I've not noticed any porpoise-ing of our 24 foot E450 Class C ... on any road ... with the previous Ford stock shocks or the new Koni FSD shocks in the rear.
HOWEVER, my GMC extended cab short bed 4X4 pickup truck when not heavily loaded porpoises REAL BAD. I have 10-way adjustable shocks on it all around and air bags (for load leveling) in the rear. I also have Sulastic rubber shackles in the rear leaf springs.
This is way off topic for this thread ... but does anyone know what shock settings I should use on my GMC pickup so as to stop this porpoise-ing under light load (how I usually use it)?? I'm past desperate. :(
Have you visited the "diesel place" great online forum I use for my GMC Duramax. Those guys would know.
