Kwikee Steps
What do I need to look for to get my Kwikee Steps to work properly? When the engine is running my Kwikee Steps work just fine! When the engine is shut off my Kwikee Steps will not extend (they stay in...

The POWER to the ON/OFF switch is dead or not supplying the power to the Step module. When you have the Engine or KEY ON, that supplies the 12 volt power to engage the steps. The WHITE wire on the 4 wire quick connect under the step area harness should have 12 volts when the On/Off switch is engaged. If NOT, odds are the fuse for that wire is blown. The steps have 3 fuses. Fuse 1 is 12 volt Power. Fuse 2 is the 5 amp for that wall switch. Fuse 3 is the Ignition power wire from the Chassis fuse block. Fuse 1 and Fuse 3 obviously work. Fuse 2 is your problem area. Doug
