I use my 8' step ladder to work on my Southwind. Sometimes I'll just use scaffolding.
But, I don't carry the 8' with me, it stays home. I just have a step stool I can use to clean the windshield.
It's high enough for on the road work. I use the attached ladder if I need to get on the roof.
