Lakewood Resort ,Myrtle Beach , No Alcohol

Just booked 4 night stay at Lakewood Resort , Myrtle Beach . I didn't realize they had an alcohol ban in the park until I received my confirmation . Does anyone know how strictly enforced this is . We don't drink a lot but I do enjoy the odd beer through the day as being a Canadian it's practically a tradition .

This is why they invented KOOZIES...

Can you tell if this is a PEPSI COLA Can or a beer.

Of course having two or three empty pepsi cans on the table wouldn't hurt...

Now stumbling out of your trailer door and steps might not be a good idea...

  • Just another one of the many reasons we stay at campgrounds and avoid state parks and parking lots. However, that's the great thing about an RV, everyone has different likes and dislikes and can chose what pleases them.

    Safe travels to all,

  • Everyone is accurate

I have stayed there, not an issue, as another poster said just don't open carry.
  • Oak Grove RV Resort, here in Holland also has a no alcohol policy. The owner goes to his next door neighbor who has a beer cooler in his pole barn.
  • If all else fails, when you need a cold one, drink it inside and then go back outside.
  • Yep, as long as you don't "open carry" / broadcast that you are drinking, and or, make a fool by being drunk. You will be fine.
  • That's prety much what I thought and I guess being in Myrtle Beach it's probably a rule that makes a lot of sense .

that's what plastic cups and huggies are for. Can't imagine it's any different than the average State Park. Enforced if you act like an idiot, left alone if you are a responsable person.
