Lambright Recliners

Good morning everyone: We are looking to replace our couch in our motorhome with two Lambright Lazy Relaxer Wall Hugger recliners.

The problem is we would like to sit in them before purchasing. We live in Ottawa, Ontario and are hoping maybe someone out there in Open Road Forum have these recliners in their motorhome and happen to live not too far from Ottawa so we could check them out before ordering online.

I know this is a strange request, but it doesn't hurt to try:)

I know the 2013 Newmar DutchStar and Venata have them and the 2015 and 2016 Newmar Dutchstars.

They look very comfy in the pics but our only concern is that the head area is well cushioned and supporting your neck.

Thanks, Vikki and Rick
  • Just a suggestion but you may want to look into the RV furniture made by Best. We bought the reclining loveseat from Countryside RV Interiors in Junction City, OR last year. They had Lambright and Ekornes but the Best recliners and loveseats were more comfortable for us. We got this one to replace a very uncomfortable RV sofa:

  • We've had ours now for 5 years and it's just as comfy and nice today as it was when we purchased it. We did get the upgraded glove soft leather which may or may not have anything to do with it's continued comfortness...worth the money for sure. We purchased ours at a Good Sam Rally from the mfg....Dennis
  • I bought two lambright from the factory while i was there. They have many different styles and sizes of chairs, soffas, love seats, etc, more than I ever imagined. tried many different chairs. Bought one sized for me and another model for DW.
  • I put Lambright single recliner and a dual recliners in my Mobile Suites last year at this time. Extremely happy and they fit me better than the many Lay-Z-Boy products I have purchased over the last 30 years. Can't say much about how long the foam stays firm since I have only owned for a year. I bought them at an rv show from a dealer with a booth where you could try them. Very comfy at first, then foam goes soft.

Bought new "better" lambright chairs for this mh. Guess what? Real comfy at first and then foam goes soft.

IF you find some one with experience you can get new foam and straps added. I'd buy lambright again, but I would look at lazyboy wall hugger chairs first. YMMV
  • Since you have identified a manufacturer that installs them in their products, you will probably be more successful finding units in stock at a dealer that have the recliners installed.
